Planned Giving

Make a planned gift today to ensure our garden gates stay free and open for generations to come while accomplishing your personal, financial, and philanthropic goals.

You may decide if you wish to support the Arboretum generally or focus your support on a specific area or program.

The most useful type of gift is unrestricted, allowing the funds to be allocated where need is greatest. Alternatively, you may designate your gift be restricted to support an area or program that best reflects your interests. If restricting your bequest, please include contingency wording to ensure that an alternative use for the bequest may be determined should the specified purpose cease to need funds in the future.

Those who make a planned gift are invited to join the Arboretum’s Legacy Society. Membership to our Legacy Society allows us to thank and recognize you for the plans you have made. Legacy Society members are honored at an annual brunch, typically held in October. Public membership is not required; we respect all requests to remain anonymous.
