7:00–8:30 PM
John Lisowski, PA Master Naturalist and Avid Microscopist
The ponds, lakes, and streams of Pennsylvania are alive with creatures too small to be seen by the naked eye. Enjoy a brief introductory presentation on light microscopy and highlights, followed by real-world examples of footage taken through the microscope. Discover fascinating microscopic creatures, including some found in water samples taken at Jenkins! Learn why these tiny organisms are important to us and how you can begin your own exploration of the microscopic world.
