How to Manage Stormwater and Streamside Areas on Your Property

7:00-8:30 PM

Mark Gallagher, Vice President, Princeton Hydro

Clay Emerson, PhD, Senior Technical Director, Princeton Hydro

In the suburban landscape, our interconnected system of roadside ditches, inlets, and pipes have replaced natural headwater wetland areas and first-order streams. This new manmade conveyance system has increased the connectivity of our watersheds, bringing the responsibility of a riparian landowner to nearly everyone’s front door. This presentation will focus on stormwater and vegetation/landscape management solutions for the environmentally conscious property owner.

Sponsored by: Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens, Tredyffrin Township Environmental Advisory Council, Open Land Conservancy, Tredyffrin Public Library, and Aqua.
