Arbo-READ-um Kick-Off

Join Tredyffrin Public Library and Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens for our 4th annual Arbo-READ-um Community Read Events. During Arbo-READ-um, we provide opportunities to promote literacy and community conversations in Tredyffrin Township.

July 1 through August 16, join us in reading Slow Birding: The Art and Science of Enjoying the Birds in Your Own Backyard by Joan E. Strassmann, Ph.D. This one-of-a-kind guide to birding locally encourages readers to slow down and notice the spectacular birds all around them. Strassmann tells colorful stories of the most common birds to be found in the United States—birds we often see but might not have considered deeply before.
